FABRIC CONTENTS: 69% Rayon / 27% Poly / 4% Spandex

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk" NO Dry Cleaning necessary. Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed).

This Rayon blend fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality, with a superb drape and soft-textured aesthetic. Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The absorbency character of our Rayon blend also allows for quality garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.

Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. This knit jersey fabric is suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles. Our knitted jacquards have a soft, textured hand, providing long wearing comfort. Additionally, this fabric is easy to care for and is wonderfully wrinkle resistant.

THE STORY

Somehow soft ballet style tops find their way into well appointed wardrobes, like our  Jacquard Knit Jersey Jacquard Ballet Tee, which was crafted using a premium Rayon blend fabric chosen for long wearing comfort, rich draping and minimal care. With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the elegant design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. Attention is drawn here to the marvelously soft textured “chain link” jacquard pattern (which we call “Innu”) that serves as a style element as well as a visual statement.

Our pullover Ballet Tee features a round neckline, ¾ length sleeves, and a fitted drape that sweeps down to a bottom hem that sits at the high hip, all classic elements of this iconic body style. Subtle stitching throughout enhances the fashion simplicity of this top. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile silhouette that pairs easily with pants, leggings and designer jeans. Perfect for travel, work or play, this short tunic body style makes for a smart investment to any well planned wardrobe.

Our unique “Crawford” knit jacquard here doubles as a design element and provides added visual interest. This jacquard weave features an intriguing design that resembles puffed chain links forming a vertical “bean pod” shape, in pattern repeat. Although this is not a reversible top, the reverse side of the fabric features the negative effect of this pattern in color contrast. This superb dual-weaving artistry beautifully complements the soft-textured feel of our luxe Knit Jersey fabric.
