Built on a concept of high-quality Japanese fabrics and a commitment to authentic craftsmanship. Originally produced for many years as a ROCOCO exclusive line of JAPAN BLUE JEANS, it relaunches in 2026 under the name “Blue refabric.”

Production centers around partner factories of JAPAN BLUE JEANS. The name combines “Blue” — representing Japanese denim — with “Refabric,” a coined word blending Republic and Fabric. Inspired by the idea of a “Blue Republic,” the brand honors Japan’s textile heritage while creating garments that bring out the individuality of the wearer.

Primarily using premium denim from Okayama, each piece is carefully crafted in trusted domestic factories. The design approach is minimal yet defined, allowing the character and texture of the fabric to stand out. From “the country of fabric, Japan” to the world—Blue refabric presents a new standard rooted in respect for Japanese textiles.

Cool comfort without the drawbacks of linen
Made with “Reflax,” a linen-like functional material.
It combines the natural look and dry touch of linen with improved functional performance, resulting in a highly practical hybrid fabric.



Despite its textured, linen-inspired appearance, the fabric resists fuzz and attracts less dust, maintaining a clean and refined surface. It’s also wrinkle-resistant and machine washable, making everyday care remarkably easy.

The waistband features a zip fly closure, while the front is finished with a watch pocket and clean single-welt pockets.



Based on classic U.S. military officer trousers, the back pocket design features a flap pocket only on the left side.

The right side is finished with a clean single-welt pocket, adding subtle contrast to the back style. The outer seams are finished with overlock stitching, while the inner seams are reinforced with edge topstitching for added durability.



Center pleats at the front emphasize the vertical lines, creating a cleaner and more refined silhouette.

Please note: The center pleats may gradually soften with wear and washing. To maintain a crisp appearance, we recommend light pressing as needed.



A label on the inside signifies that the trousers were produced at a JAPAN BLUE JEANS partner factory.





The silhouette provides comfortable room through the hips and thighs before tapering cleanly toward the hem for a sharp finish.

Overall, the fit leans slightly slim, creating a streamlined leg line. While refined in appearance, the waist and hip area retain enough ease to prevent a restrictive feel, resulting in a well-balanced silhouette that feels polished yet easy to wear.
