By far the most desirable edition of Talmage's classic twenty volume set if you want to use it with any regularity. The newer edition is perfect bound [hardcover over paperback construction] and the original set used a brittle paper and adhesive that can't stand up to use. This set was printed on acid free paper, smyth-sewn, and bound in actual woven cloth bindings.

Good+ to very good in attractive period cloth, some light handling and minor rubbing, less than 10 pages with any markings in the entire set. Very solid.
