It's typically a deep forest green with silvery, feather-like additions of mica. Rarely, it can appear in variations of red, yellow, gold, or black, just like this rare example. 

Seraphinite is mined in a limited area of eastern Siberia in Russia. Russian mineralogist Nikolay Koksharov (1818-1892 or 1893) is often credited with its discovery. It occurs in the Korshunovskoye iron skarn deposit in the Irkutskaya Oblast of Eastern Siberia.

Seraphinite promotes living from the heart. It cleanses the aura, strengthens, activates and balances all chakras. Causes old patterns of disease or imbalance to fall away, thus creating space for new patterns of well-being to form. Seraphinite is healing for nerves and brain cells.
