The Standard Horizon HX400 is a commercial-tough, submersible handheld marine VHF radio engineered for dependable communication and versatile use on the water. With dealer programming, you can unlock up to 40 LMR channels (134–174 MHz) complete with CTCSS/DCS signaling for commercial and business band communications (FCC license required). 

A built-in noise-canceling microphone and internal voice scrambler enhance clarity and privacy, eliminating the need for add-on scrambler accessories. The loud internal speaker delivers strong audio even in noisy environments, and programmable features like scan, dual-watch, priority scan, and channel presets make operation intuitive and efficient. 

Supplied with a high-capacity Li-ion battery and rapid AC/DC chargers with drop-in cradle, the HX400 supports all-day communication on a single charge.
